Dry Shake Color Hardener

Concrete Colors of Texas Dry Shake Color Hardener and Antiquing Release Agent are blends of colored cementitious materials. Stamped & Stenciled concrete is typically comprised of two colors: the first is the base or Dry Shake Color Hardener color, and the other is called the Antiquing Release Agent color. When applied to fresh concrete Dry Shake Color Hardener and Antiquing Release Agents create an abrasion resistant surface with brilliant colors and unique textures. Dry Shake Color Hardeners help provide a durable, dense, abrasion resistant surface. Dry Shake Color Hardeners and Antiquing Release Agent are broadcast onto the freshly placed concrete and then troweled into the surface. The concrete is not colored all the way through and since the color is concentrated on the surface, a more intense color can be produced. Dry Shake Color Hardeners and Antiquing Release Agent are often used in stamping applications. Textures can be attained by procedures such as suing a smooth trowel, sandblasting, or the authentic re-creation of natural stone textures. Concrete Colors of Texas Colors Hardener can be used on interior and /or exterior surfaces as well as pedestrian or vehicular traffic. Coverage rates will depend on the colors used and their intended application. Color Hardener minimum suggested coverage rate is 60 to 90 lbs. per 100 square feet. For heavier uses, a minimum 90-100 lbs. per 100 square feet is suggested.
